Hon. Theresa Lardi Awuni, the Member of Parliament for Okaikwei North, is making significant strides in her commitment to provide clean water access across the constituency. In the Achimota Electoral Area, a new water project is currently underway to benefit the Achimota community and the Kopevi enclave, addressing a long-standing need for reliable water supply in these areas.
This project follows the successful completion of borehole installations in the Akweteman and Anumle Electoral Areas, as part of a broader initiative to improve water access across Okaikwei North. Additionally, other water projects are nearing completion in several key areas, including Achimota, Alogboshie, Kisseiman, and Christian Village, ensuring that even more residents will soon have dependable access to clean water.
