Okaikwei North witnessed a groundbreaking event yesterday as Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, the NDC’s dynamic Running Mate and next Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, took the constituency by storm in a powerful campaign tour, graced with a durbar of chiefs. The energy, excitement, and unity displayed by all present, sent shockwaves throughout the region, propelling us closer to an undeniable victory in the December 2024 elections!
After commissioning a borehole at Akweteyman, Hon. Theresa Lardi Awuni received the running mate, Prof. Naana Opoku-Agyemang, at Lapaz New Market, the atmosphere was charged with anticipation. Hundreds of market women, artisans, and residents turned out in full force, welcoming her with cheers and unwavering support for the NDC’s forward-thinking agenda. The resounding applause and enthusiasm were a clear signal that Okaikwei North is ready to vote for change this December! The campaign continued and the momentum only grew stronger. The crowd, swelling in size, was captivated by Prof. Naana Opoku-Agyemang’s message of hope and empowerment, reinforcing the NDC’s commitment to uplifting the lives of everyday Ghanaians.
But it was at Achimota Market where the real magic happened! Prof. Naana Opoku-Agyemang met with the traders in an unforgettable gathering that saw the community’s passion and enthusiasm ignite like never before. The warm welcome she received was a testament to the faith that Okaikwei North has in her leadership, and in the vision of John Dramani Mahama. From the traders to the youth, the support was overwhelming.
After the departure of the Professor for an event at Dome, the MP proceeded to commission another borehole at Achimota, crowning a very successful day.
